Now accepting headshots and resumes from AEA and non-AEA actors for the developmental production of Billy Butler's new musical, Missing: Wynter, which will have it's premiere this fall at The Players’ Ring Theatre in Portsmouth, NH. The show is billed as “a modern musical cautionary tale with a mix of Cervantes and Brothers Grimm; about a young girl who disappears without a trace, never to be seen again, her father’s struggle to find her, and ultimately, himself.”
Seeking excellent singer/actors for the following roles;
Wynter - female, 12-14 years old. Precocious, clever, thoughtful, funny.
Paul - male, 30-40 years old, Wynter’s single father. Charming, earthy, honest, a bit of a pushover, almost too nice. He has primary custody and has been raising Wynter pretty much alone for most of her life.
Mary - female, 30-40 years old, Wynter’s mother, and Paul’s exwife. Bitter, career minded, but there is also a softness.
Detective Tracy Jones - female, 30-50 years old, a veteran special victims investigator. Plays various roles.
Detective Reid - male, 20-40 years old, Jones’ partner. Also plays various roles.
Rehearsal begins August 18 and the show runs Friday through Sunday September, 19 to October, 5 at the Players’ Ring Theatre in Portsmouth, NH.
